Carriers
Everything here is under Shipping carriers in the Navexa menu (owners and admins make changes).
Built-in rates
You don't need a carrier account of your own to ship. Navexa has built-in parcel rates, and labels you buy on them are charged to your account. Add a payment method under Settings → Billing before you buy your first label (see Getting started).
The Built-in carriers card lists the carriers those rates come from. Where the card offers it, you can add Veho by accepting Veho's terms and conditions. To ask about another carrier, contact support.
Your own carrier accounts
Already have negotiated rates? Choose Connect your own account:
- Veeqo (parcel): Navexa quotes and buys labels through your Veeqo account, alongside the built-in rates.
- WARP (freight): pallet freight quotes and bookings through your WARP account.
Postage on labels bought through your own account is billed by that carrier or platform. Navexa's own fees are on navexa.co/pricing.
Carrier pickups
The pickups section on the same page books UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL Express and Veho pickups for a warehouse's unscanned labels of that carrier:
- Add schedule sets a regular pickup for a warehouse and carrier on chosen weekdays. Navexa books it at the booking time each day; Book now books today's.
- Book pickup books a single pickup for a date (today or up to 7 days ahead) and time window.
The carrier's pickup fee is charged to your account, and refunded if you cancel the pickup. Veho needs at least 20 labels and a 3-hour window; other carriers set their own windows and cutoffs, and a pickup they decline shows as failed with their reason. A pickup the carrier doesn't charge for, such as USPS's, costs you nothing. When every label in a pickup is on a carrier account you connected as your own, Navexa books the pickup on that account: the carrier bills you its pickup fee directly and Navexa charges nothing. When only some are, the pickup carries all of them and is charged as usual. Labels bought through Veeqo can't ride a Navexa pickup; book those with the carrier.
Which rate gets used
Rates from every connected source are compared side by side. Settings → Shipping rules recommends a rate per order (for example, never a slower service than the customer paid for). The same carriers feed live rates at checkout.
Setting orders up automatically
A shipping rule can also set an order up when it arrives. Add actions to the rule: set the box, ship from a warehouse, insure the packages, require a signature, add an internal tag or note, or apply a preset. For example, "order total over $200: insure and require an adult signature", or "SKU X: ship in box Y".
- Actions run when the order comes in and again whenever it syncs. A value you change by hand on the order is kept; rules don't change it back.
- A rule or preset only adds a signature. It never lowers the signature your account requires, or one already on the order.
- Orders combined into one shipment ship with the strongest signature any of them needs.
- Ship from a warehouse only moves the order when that warehouse has the stock for every item, and only when Navexa manages that store's inventory. It is set once and never moved back.
- Insurance a rule turns on is billed with the label, like insurance you turn on yourself.
- Internal tags and notes stay in Navexa. Store syncs never change them, and the orders search finds the tags.
- The order page lists what each rule set under Set by rules.
A shipping preset saves a setup: the carrier and service to recommend, the box, insurance and a signature. Create presets under Settings → Shipping rules. Apply one to selected orders with Apply preset on the Orders page, or have a rule apply it. A preset's service is never recommended when it is slower than what the customer paid for. A preset you apply by hand picks the rate ahead of every rule. A preset a rule applies picks it in that rule's place, so a rule higher in the list still wins.
A product can have shipping defaults on the Products page: a box, and a carrier and service. A package whose products all share a default box ships in that box when they fit it (a single unit always does); otherwise Navexa picks a bigger box or splits the package. Its rate defaults to their service when no rule picks one.
TikTok Shop orders
Orders that ship with TikTok Shipping get TikTok's own label rates only. Orders from a US shop that uses seller shipping get your carriers' rates instead, and once you buy or upload the label, Navexa sends its tracking number and carrier to TikTok, so you don't have to enter it in Seller Center. The carrier has to be one TikTok accepts for the order; for any other carrier, enter the tracking in Seller Center yourself.
